Management club (NEXUS) Inauguration for the academic year
In the academic year 2024-25, the management club was formed for the purpose of conducting various programme under the club and encouraging students to improve their curriculum and non- curriculum skills. The inauguration was held on 07-12-2024.
Management Association Inauguration
The association inauguration programme was conducted on 18-12-2024 by Mr. Nag Kumar (Asst. GM of Aster MIMS, Kottakkal). The aim of a department association in a college is to foster a sense of community, support, and collaboration among students, faculty, and alumni within a specific academic department or discipline. It provides opportunities for networking, professional development, advocacy, and information sharing to enhance members' academic and career success.
Local Industrial Visit to HIMO PACK Industries Pvt. Ltd. Kottakkal
The industrial visit program organized on 24th January 2024 by the department was a valuable opportunity for students to gain practical insights into real-world operations within various industries. Visiting Axis technology, chennai allowed the students to witness firsthand the application of theoretical knowledge learned in classrooms.
Trading Titans Orientation Class
An orientation class conducted for final year BBA students to familiarize with the trading mechanism of stock market on 10 june 2024 at seminar hall. The program was inaugurated by Principal and the chief guest of the program was Mr. Sumith Subramanyam (SEBI Smart & BSE IPF resource person).
Teach to Thrive
An inspirational talk by a women entrepreneur was conducted on 30th August 2024,Friday for BBA students to furnish the interest on entrepreneurship and also take off the veil of struggles in starting new startups. The program was inaugurated by the Principal and the chief guest was Deepthi Krishna, founder of MY NATURALS.
Banking Inclusion
An outreach activity was conducted by the department for starting new bank account and also providing a financial inclusion to the students, staffs and society. The program was conducted by the department in association with SBI Kottakkal. The program was held on 4th September 2024 at college seminar hall.
Tech Trials
The department in association withKINFRA Integrated Industrial and Textiles Park, Palakkad conducted an Industrial visit to KINFRA Palakkad on 30th September 2024 for experiencing the learning aspects in the real industry. 48 students and 4 faculty members attended the program. The students explored the processes of manufacturing an electric bike, the guide from YAZH e-vehicle explained the process.
The Hiring Key for Career
An ATS friendly resume making orientation programme was conducted for BBA students for familiarizing the career updations and updating resume with industry trends. The program helped students to make industry updated ATS friendly resumes. The program was conducted by Anas PT (Assistant Professor, Dept. of Management Studies) on 19 November 2024 at Smart Room.
Orientation programme for Project Report Preparation
An orientation class was conducted in the computer lab for preparing 6th semester project report by Soumya CK (Asst. Prof. Of department of management) on 05-12-2024.
Rethink Your Future
A career guidance was conducted by the department in association with Institute of Commerce, Lakshya on 27th January 2025 at seminar hall. The programe was inaugurated by the Principal. The final year students were participated in the progrm. It helped the students to create a pathway in their career. The session was
