DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS

The Physics department is usually a part of an educational institution and it performs many important functions related to the study of physics. The Department of Physics plays an important role in education, research, and dissemination of knowledge in the field of Physics. It also contributes to scientific and technological advancements that impact various aspects of our lives. The department offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Physics. The department has seven teaching staff, two lab attendants and two well-equipped laboratories with all facilities for post-graduate and graduate students. We have Memorandum of Understandings and collaborations with other academic institutions that help students get better exposure to advanced laboratory techniques and equipment. Every year students undergo internships in reputable institutes and get trained in various processes and technologies. Physics departments play a critical role in advancing our understanding of the natural world, leading to technological advances and innovations that benefit society.
