COMMEMORATION OF INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING
On 26th June 2023, the Physical Education Department of Grace Valley College Of Arts & Science organized a special, friendly football match to commemorate the International Day Against Drug Abuse And Illicit Trafficking. The event aimed to promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle among the students to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness. FOOTBALL COACHING CAMP 2023-24
A football coaching camp was conducted for the students under the auspices of the Physical Education Department from August 11 to September 18, 2023.About 30 students participated in the camp, which lasted till September 18 in which,21 students were selected to the college football team for the academic year 2023-24.Read more
NATIONAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION
National Sports Day is celebrated in honor of the birthday of Major Dhyan Chand, one of India's greatest hockey players of all time. To commemorate this occasion, Department of physical education organized a online Quiz Programme to promote sports awareness and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship. The primary objective of the National Sports Day Quiz Programme was to educate, engage, and entertain participants while promoting a culture of sports and physical fitness. VOLLEYBALL COACHING CAMP 2023-24
A Volleyball coaching camp was conducted for the students under the auspices of the Physical Education Department from october 17 to 24, 2023.About 28 students registerd for the selection camp, which lasted till october 24 in which,12 students were selected to the college volleyball team for the academic year 2023-24. College volleyball team participated in calicut university B-zone volleyball championship held at Mar Thoma college chungathara.Read more

A Cricket coaching camp was conducted for the students under the auspices of the Physical Education Department from october 19 to November 7, 2023.About 34 students registerd for the selection camp, which lasted till November 7 in which,16 students were selected to the college cricket team for the academic year 2023-24.Read more
INTER DEPARTMENT FOOTBALL 2023-24
The Inter-Department Football Tournament(SOCCER FIESTA) was organized by the Department of Physical Education with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event aimed to foster sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie among the students of various departments. Six teams from different departments participated in the tournament, including BA English, B.Com, BBA, BAFT, B.Com Finance, and BCA.
